Prince George, Fantastic Beasts and Darlings

Hey Everyone!! I apologize for not updating as much as I do... but as It's approaching Holiday season it's been super busy along with Midterms, School and other activities.

 

This week in Royal News:
 Prince George, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton at Prince George's Christening this week!!

    Prince George is a hot button topic, but not for being next in line for the throne before Prince Harry.  Apparently some people are scoffing at the little tyke's  christening gown on Wednesday, and think that he shouldn't have been wearing a dress because he is a boy. What people people don't realize is the white gow is traditional for any baby in a church. It doesn't matter if they are boy or girl, and I believe Prince William wore the same exact one when he was christened.

There has been rumors around the globe that Prince Harry may have found his mate.. is there another Royal Wedding coming?!  We sure hope not... honestly Prince Harry is one of the most gorgeous bachelor's alive right now!!


Princess, or Duchess Kate Middleton stunned the crowd yesterday at a Gala after the Christening in a beautiful gown. Let me tell you, this week has been a nice break from Miley Cyrus on Facebook!!



In Harry Potter News:
J.K. Rowling and Fantastic Beasts and Whre to Find them
The biggest news ever has been released!! Harry Potter Fans,  Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them will be  movie screen played by the one and only J.K.Rowling herself.  There will be no Harry Potter, as it is set 70 years before the book, and set in New York City. (I know, weird.) I checked twice, but that seems to be where the Queen of Writing wants it to take place.

Daniel Radcliffe

           Kill Your Darlings opened in theaters and received fantastic reviews!! Daniel Radcliffe appears in the film in glasses, but this time in 1944. The feeling is dark and intense. Maybe even more intense than Equss. However, I have not seen it yet as it is only open in LA, Hollywood, and New York City. Hopefully it will spread its wings just a little more!!

Rupert Grint and Alan Rickman:

 Are both starring in the recent film, CBGBs about the famous night club in Manhattan.  Rupert Grint plays a  a band member, and Alan Rickman plays the loosely goosey club owner.  Which, is amusing seeing them both in regular clothes and not in cloaks. especially a  black wig!!

No Twerking, but a Stunning Emma Watson and Wonderful Royal Mom

The world is a mess, but England seems to be well off with baby  Prince George!!

Royal News:  

It looks like Kate Middleton is already back off her feet and out walking with Prince William after giving birth two months ago.  According to US weekly and Vanity Fair,  she had a very natural child birth that went well.

 

Currently both Prince William and Kate and George live with Kate's parents in Buckelberry, England to  have a little more help.. And apparently the Queen of England isn't too happy about it Vanity Fair says..

However, the world wishes the Royal Family well, and hope that that new baby is healthy and happy being spoiled by Kate's mother!

Harry Potter News:

       

Daniel Radcliffe's New Movie, Kill Your Darlings has released some first looks at the movie this week.  From Mugglenet.com, pictures of him have been put up of him with horns on for the movie Horns. 

Emma Watson received the Woman of the Year award at the GQ Men of the Year Award Ceremony at the Royal Opera House.  And she managed to shock the world a little in her  "I dream of Genie Outfit" which, I personally think made her look fantastic. At  least she didn't twerk.

Rupert Grint will be peforming on stage in a new version of Shakespeare's "MacBeth." It is called Enemy of a Man.  It will hopefully boost his career,  along with the movie CBGB.

The Smurf Reporter and the Royal Smurf!

Hey Everyone!! So, a lots happened in the month of August.. In Britian and with our Harry Potter Celebrities.

 First, we shall start off with our new little Royal Prince: As you all know by now, his name is Prince George Alexander Louis. According to some sources, the hedgehogs at the Ediburgh Zoo have named their three newest hedgehogs after the little prince! They even have their own castle.

The Royal Family: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took pictures for us to see little Prince George this week, and they look fabulous. Apparently as soon as the picture was published, Kate's maternity dress sold out in stores all over the country!!

For Our Harry Potter Stars: Brendan Glesson (Mad-Eye Moody: Recently stared in the movie The Smurfs 2. Where he plays a funny irsh step father to Patrick.

Daniel Radcliffe: Recently stared in the play, "The Cripple of the Inishmaann" London England on Monday. He did two shows in which he said he could always peform better.

Rupert Grint is now performing the play " Mojo" by Jez Butterworth and will play a drug-addicted characte with his co-star, Ben Whishaw who is also known as the lovable Mr. Bates on Downtown Abbey.

Hey everybody! So it's been along time since I've written.. reason being that I've been on vacation.  Now, it's back to work and keeping you up on all those lovely British Royals.

Kate Middleton gave birth to a healthy 8lb baby boy on July 22nd, 2013 16:17 in London.   I think the baby's name weighs just as much as he does,

George Alexander Louis is the new little Prince's name. Now, it may seem silly to name a two-day old baby that, but it actually goes into the Windsor Family history of names.  Until little Georgie was born, their were six King Georges, One Alexander the Great,  and 17 King Louis's of  France.

Bonnie Wright (Ginny Potter/Weasley):  Will be making her debut in the play The Moment of Truth. She was also just recently spotted at the  amFa's Cinema's against Aids event  in a blue Prada Dress at the Cannes Film Festival.

Mathew Lewis (Neville Longbottom):  like Wright,  Lewis is also in a starring role of the play, Our Boys.  He  also just had a lovely interview with justjared.com and Rupert Grint about how much he really has grown up from little Neville Long bottom to strikingly gorgeous Mathew Lewis.

Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood):  Honestly, if the name Luna Lovegood wasn't copyrighted, I think Evanna would take it as her own. She's a pure genius.  Look for her new movie, Gay Best Friend, and surprisingly,  Luna plays the role of the homophobic friend.

American News, Royal Delights, and Harry Potter Celebrities

Hello Everybody!!  Today is a bit dreary in America.. I'm pretty sure Baltimore and London switched places for the month.. Though I don't know how the London weather is, exactly.

So here's your hard hitting news from the Hogwarts Times to cheer you up:


American News:


A young girl just received a place on the adult transplant list, for a new set of lungs.
The BBC news and her family say that the surgery went very well!

It is said that Obama had no part in the surgery, that "arguing the transplant policy should be made by doctors and scientists".



Directors Steven Spielberg and George Lucas are predicting that the movie industry  could become a meltdown soon.

For example, the Iron Mann films prices will increase, and  prices for films such as Lincoln  will decrease.

Here's a Royal Delight for you:

This morning, Kate Middleton rides a new British cruise linjer named the Royal Princess, in Southampton, England.

According to People Magazine this was her last official outing by herself before she gives birth to  her and Prince William's baby.


Harry Potter Celebrity News:

Daniel Radcliffe looks like he has a numerous of scandalous, yet very interesting films coming out.

Lately he's played as Billy, in Martin McDonagh's play, The Cripple of Inishmaan.

According to his interview with The Guardian,  Daniel would also like to gain a tattoo from a lyric of the British Sea Power band.


He's also said that he can't get the tattoos because he keeps getting roles in which he has to be naked in. Just recently,  Kill your Darlings,  The F Word, and Horns.


Warning For Harry Potter fans with Children:


Kill your Darlings has a  gay sex scene,  The F word, Radcliffe is naked and he has a straight sex scene in Horns.

Even though his roles may seem adult like, it hasn't changed Daniel's idea of life his life views.
he is still as normal as any teenager/adult can be.

Just be cautious,  Gay or Straight sex scenes are not bad at all, but it is not an ideal thing for kids under the age of 17 to watch!

Royal News:

        Around and about London, there has been current speculation on wither or not Kate Middleton is having a boy or a girl.  The NY Daily News claims that really no one knows, but that Prince Harry says that they are having a boy!
 --Personally,  it doesn't matter each way, but a girl in the family would be  much fun!



Celebrity News:

 Emma Watson has grown up, though in some ways she is still Hermione Granger to her fans,  she is now starring in the new film, The Bling Ring.

According to the Daily Record,  they say that she would never be like the main character of the movie, and that her family has kept her grounded through out the whole film. It is quite astonishing that Emma has been able to leave a mostly normal life, and keep a boyfriend at the same time!



American News:
 
This past weekend, the state of Okalahoma has had more damage than need be.   Mostly due to Torandos,   several lives have been lost and homes.  President Obama has spoken to Oklohama saying that America is praying for them. (The New York Times)


And, last but not least a bit of Fun Facts for you about Sweden:

A Summer Update!

Hi to All!!!

So the slow paced school year finally came to an end, and all Hogwarts students are most likely getting ready for exams!
     There are a few quick notices I would like to bring up,

1) This blog has been changed a lot.. and as it is hard to keep up with a fictional note,   it will become more realstic over the summer!

2) British News and Royalty news will still be avaialble on The Hogwarts Times.

3) So will Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Daniel Radcliffe news among other Harry Potter cast members

4) A new feature will be added: American Current Events and Sweden Facts!

Why Sweden you may ask?

Because I get to go!  And I'm super excited to explore ancient ruins and Medievil History. (Hermione Granger would be proud!)

So..... The next post will have your updated Fascinating needs involving culture, news, countries, and people!

Safety Reminders and News

Usually,  The Hogwarts Time is dedicated to the ongoings of Harry Potter and Fan fiction, and other British News.  However, as an American I feel it is important to give details of the importance of Safety, and America.



1) If you haven't heard yet,  Last week in the United States of America, in Boston, MA,  a bombing happened.   The bombing took place at the end of the Boston marathon.  I have been keeping all of Boston in my prayers this week. It has been rather tragic.  

The bombers are two men, one passed on and one still alive.  The one alive has been captured.   They were two teenage boys of a different race then white. I would like to remind you that, just because a person is of an Afghan race, black, Indian, or any other color doesn't automatically make them a killer Skin isn't the cause, it's the person in the skin.

3) Boston was under lockdown all day Friday due to an early morning gun riot.

4) The baltimore area had some shootings near the park. Remember people, keep  your doors locked and windows shut. Always have  a phone on.

Gun violence  is something that cannot be easily  controlled. In fact, once it is controlled, it tends to do the opposite. However, safety  is the most important thing. There are a few ways to remain safe:

1) Always have your family know how to call 911 (Not a joke).
2) Always keep your firealarms working and check them regularly.
3)  If you live in the city, it is necessary to keep doors locked and don't let anybody you know in!
4) Sadly, we don't have wands,  but  calling the police will help, so have your phone on you! (If you aren't  trained to fight a robber)
5) I cannot stress enough.. do not go out alone at night. If you have to, carry a whistle or a safety horn.
6) The news also suggest to talk your kids and ask them how they feel about it. If anything is bothering them, make sure they get some help!

After Easter News

Well.. I hope everyone survived their Easter Holiday.. I know I did, and managed to get six hours worth of homework done in one night  :).
  D.A. meetings are back on, and Harry Potter has revealed that he will be teaching us Patronesses, so remember, Think of your happiest of thoughts! Even if that means Professor Umbridge  leaving Hogwarts!

The Royals:

Prince Harry and his friends  are hiring somebody to be at their Dinner Party at Bumpkin, Notting Hilll on April 5th.  Among him was 50 Guests. Looks Like the Royal Party Boy is back from War.

Prince Harry will also be visiting the U.S.  From May 9th-15th.  His  travels will include  Washington D.C.,  Arlington National Military Museum,  Denver, Colorado.

Prince Charles who is labeled as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland, met  some of  Scottish Kin earlier this week, even if the weather was dreary, what a brave chap he is. With him were Kate and William.

Updated Muggle & Harry Potter News!

As you can see, It has been an extremely busy semester for all of us.  Dumbledore's Army has currently taken a break from  practicing do to the  Easter Holidays. I believe Hermione Granger may be the only one with more homework than all of us, and almost collapsed the other day in Gryffindor tower.
        Harry Potter has met with both Professor Umbridge and Professor McGongall for career advice. Which reminds me  that schedules for next summer and fall are coming out. According to some of my fellow Hufflepuffs, there will be a Harry Potter exhibition in Japan, as the one in New York has ended.
        
        
Muggle News

Sports:
   Cricket: The last game for England vs. New Zealand was 237-7
         
     Women's Cricket:  Austrillia won by 114 runs, making it West indies Vs. Austrillia  and Austrillia the winner of the finals!

      
Royals:

A friendly reminder that the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth the II had took an oath to remain Queen until she dies. That is long live the Queen!



Prince Willia has been made Aide-de-Camp to the Queen herself, or personal assitant to the Queen.

Emma Watson has been made into a Wax Figure , and  has recieved the name "English Rose"  Madame Tussauds. Her Wax Figure will be among other celebrities such as  Helen Mirren and Kate Winslet.

Alright.. I'm back. as the rest of you are.  The first couple of weeks of being back at school were rough, just ask Hannah Abbot who became so overwhelmed that she has already been sent to Madame Pomfery for some calming remedies. It looks like being a fifth year is going to be tough!
    No worries though, Fred and George from Gryffindor  have informed me of their latest
products to get you out of class and outside!
           Hmm. I wonder what Hermione Granger thinks.

Speaking of,  The D.A. has a meeting this wednesday! It's a surprise lesson,  and as Valentine's Day is next week, I'm sure Harry has thought of something quite impressive.

           The Duchess and Duke of Cambridige,  Kate and William are hiring for household help.  It is said in January that Kate  was suffereing from  a very severe form of morning sickness.. Let's hope she's alright!

  Women's Cricket: The Women's World Cricket Cup is going on right now.  The scores according to the BBC (British Broad Casting News) State this:
   Australlia: Has won 3 games
    New Zealand has won 2 games but lost 1 game
England  has won 1 game and lost 2 games (heavy heart goes out to you!)
Sri Lanka has won 1 game and lost 3 games
South Africa has won 0 games and lost 3 games

Looks like our home country needs some cheering up!!

  The England Women won 76-0 against the Scottish Women's Team.

The upcoming movie, Beautiful Creatures with Emma Thomposon will open on Valentine's Day.  I suggest seeing it the day after... there will much love and cuddling and a very crowded theater!


Daniell Radcliffe 23, will be attending the Oscars this month in America and watching presenting an award!

Emma Watson's movie, The Bling Ring will hit later this year in June. Let's hope it's the right career choice for her!

For our beloved British Ginger, Rupert Grint:  He will be starring in the upcoming movie Into the White, and the trailer for it will be on iTunes  March 7th, 2013!


 Note:  Professor Umbridge has put up a new degree, but as always  ignore it, as the D.A. has kindly advised be more wary of Professor  Filch!

Hogwarts News:

It has been a few days since we have had some updates from Hermione Granger on  Dumbledore's Army.

      She says they meet every Wednesday in the Room of Requirement in the evenings. However, you are to watch out for Peeves and  Filch,  who are constantly watching.
Harry says the first the thing that they are going to be learning is the Expelliarmus Charm! So be prepared, it can be a bit tricky.


Sports News for England:

England is currently playing against  India today, January 27th 2013 for the game of cricket.

Of course with the help of our Irish friends the leporchauns,  England won by 7.

Manchester United is in the lead of all the Football teams in the Tournment currently at play as of 1/326/2013.


Celebrity News:
Daniel Radcliffe will be starring in the  new movi e Kill Your Darlings, playing Allen Ginsberg.
The Muggle news says that this feature may not be suitable for our Younger Hogwarts students.

Emma Thompson will be starring  in the upcoming movie, Beautiful Creatures as Sarafine, another enemy of Hogwarts   and will be acting as Lena's mother.

Royal News:

It has been annouced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate will be having a baby. Even though William is more magical than Kate, will this mean that their child will be a half- blood? Well, one things for sure, Professor McGonnagall  has had the future king of England's son on the Hogwarts list for years.

~Breaking News From Gryffindor!~

It is said that Prefect, Hermione Granger  has become in charge of  something called Dumledore's Army.  She has just informed me that anyone who wants lessons in Defense Against the Darks is too report to  Harry Potter, yes the famous Harry Potter.

    Yes. I met him once...nice chap he is.   There is something dangerous going on, and I truly believe that after last year's event in the triwizard tournment.
     Poor Cedric,  how we miss him dearly. He was a kind soul he was.    The only one who encouraged me to take charge of our house and report about the ins and outs of Hogwarts.

   Anyway,  Hermione told me in Charms class that they meet  once a week, but they are not sure of the day or the time yet.
         There are  ways to participate if you are a Muggle and willing..  For example, we are connected through something called the Xbox Kinect where you can train along us in Dueling club.
  We are also connected through Pottermore, a Muggle created site by somebody named J.K.Rowling, I hear she is the reason that we have become visible to the Muggle World.. After she discovered poor little Neville Longbottom on the way back to Scottland and he told her about Hogwarts and the first 4 years of his troubles with Draco Malfoy and  Harry Potter.



   Poor Muggles, they think she thought of the idea all by herself.. Nobody could think of our world   all by themseves ;).

              Well.. as sitting at my table writting isn't going to do any good,  I need to go off to  Herbolgy now. Professor Sprout will have a fit if I'm late again.

January 22nd, 2013: A Letter from the Editior

Hello fellow Hogwarts Classmates-
     
                Today's issue is the first of many of the life that is going on outside of our Castle and our Friends who have become famous through out the entire Muggle and Wizardying World.
 As of right now, this is a one person Prophet.   However- The Hogwarts Times could use your help to share the wonders of our world.
       If you're a Harry Potter fan and looking for the opportunity to write about Emma, Dan, and Rupert, let me know.
  If you're a  Harry Potter fan who has been sorted into the Hufflepuff House on Pottermore or any other source, your welcome to join the editors section:
                 Those who are Loyal.

Any other house is welcome to  do sports, gossip, or news.   
    I hear there is such as thing as Muggle Qudditch, Football (Soccer), and Cricket, so you are more than welcome to write about those, along with Qudditch.

              I ask though, that this paper has not been advised or given permission by the headmistress herself , Dolores Umbridge.   If she catches us, we will not only have our rights taken a way, but expelled from Hogwarts.
   The idea is to keep it hidden...
